Elyssa & Aiden: Starry Night Bella Collina Wedding

Let’s hear it for the wedding day details! Elyssa and Aiden’s  Bella Collina starry night wedding was full of them. And, do you know what else it was full of? It was full of stars! You might say the sky was full of stars on their heavenly night! Working with a wedding dream team to create this magical evening was heaven-sent as well. Thanks to the talented  Valiant Weddings we get to relive this dream wedding.

 

 

 

While Elyssa and her bridal party got ready with some last-minute touches. I was getting ready to present my bride with her bouquet. And I couldn’t wait for her to see the arrangement in its completion.

 

Before the hustle and bustle, before the ladies slipped into their sky blue bridesmaids’ gowns. I joined the bridal party in the bridal suite to give my bride her bouquet created and designed by yours truly.

The classic, hand-tied bouquet from Blossoms Arrangements of Distinction was filled with cream and navy-colored floral. Textures are mixed together to create a beautiful arrangement.

 

But my favorite part was the locket pinned to the satin ribbon. Elyssa’s grandmother would be right next to her on her wedding day.

 

After Elyssa received her bouquet, there was just one last thing to do. While her bridesmaids waited in the next room, she put on her gown from Palm Bridal. And then she presented them with a special first look that was perfectly captured!

 

 

Of course, Aiden and his groomsmen had details to take care of before the wedding, too. But theirs were more of the gambling kind.

 

The groomsmen helped Aiden shake off any wedding day jitters with a few rounds of poker. And while they enjoyed a couple beers, they raised a bottle in toast of their friend.

 

 

Of course, when it was time for Aiden to get “wedding ready,” he did not disappoint.  In his navy suit, he was “all in” and ready to make the best bet of his life.

 

When the Stars Align: Wedding Ceremony

The Grand Lawn at  Bella Collina was perfect for these star-crossed lovers to meet. While the blue skies above hid the stars that would soon make an appearance, a custom moon arch was the perfect wedding ceremony backdrop.

 

 

 

 

Starry Night Cocktail Hour & Reception

After the vows, it was time to celebrate. First with Elyssa and Aiden’s Reflection Pond cocktail hour. While the guests sipped on “cosmic old fashions” and “midnight margaritas” it was time to show the bride and groom their reception with a Grand Reveal.

 

 

 

I have shared before how important it is to give my couple a personal and intimate Grand Reveal of their reception space. Before the wedding guests come in, and before the wedding reception timeline kicks off. This is a quiet moment for my bride and groom to look closely at their table decor, take a twirl on the dance floor, and to soak in the moment. It’s an honor and a privilege to share this moment with them.

 

Of course, I can’t talk about their gorgeous reception and not show it to you! We took the Grand Lawn and transformed it into a private evening under the stars. And before the stars could shine above, Kaleidoscope Lighting created twinkling ones above.

 

 

 

The custom moon arch was placed behind the sweetheart table for my bride and groom. Pillars of candles were mixed with floral and greenery galore to create a beautiful starry night wedding.

 

 

Dinner, Dancing & Dessert

Soon, the sky darkened and the twinkle lights above mingled with the stars to create a real sky full of stars.

 

From dancing to dinner to dessert, Elyssa and Aiden soaked in the love that surrounded them.

 

 

And as the moon rose into the sky, DJ Gary White turned up the music. Either it was the love in the air, or maybe the signature drinks, but the wedding guests showed off their best dance moves on the floor. And I was loving every second of it!

 

 

But, the evening slowly came to an end. And with a sky full of stars and hearts full of love, the newlyweds ran off to their awaiting getaway car. Congrats Elyssa and Aiden!
